About the Rapture.

The Rapture

     In the first blog we spoke about two events the rapture and the second coming of Jesus Christ.  The signs that we will talk about will take place before the second coming of Christ.  The rapture is an event that will happen before or at the start of the tribulation period.  Some people do believe this event will take place half way through the tribulation period and other believe near the end of the tribulation period just before the second coming of Christ. In this blog we will talk about it happening before the tribulation period begins.

     It has been said that the rapture is an event, in which millions of Christians around the world will disappear in the blink of an eye.  This event is where Jesus will come back to take home his church. The people who will be taken up at this time are those who believe that Jesus is the only way to get to heaven.  These people are called born again believers or Christians.  They just don't know Jesus but they have a relationship with him.  The best verse that describes this way of thinking is; John 3:16 God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. (Jeremiah, Study Bible, p. 1445)  Once this event takes place the world as we know it today will go into total chaos.  There will be many people who will want to know what happened to their loved ones and why did they disappear. 

Many people believe this event will mark the beginning of the tribulation period which will last seven years. The pictures we have added is an idea of what the event will look like at the time it happens. This ends the second blog and we will pick up with the signs of the end times in the next blog.
     

     

Signs of the End Times

     

     Everybody has heard and seen people talk about the end of the world.  There have been people who held up signs that says the world is ending or ending soon. Some of these people are not crazy because there is a day coming when the world as we know will end and one day a new world will begin.  Jesus tells us in the Gospels that there will be signs of the  end times.
  
     For those of us who are born again Christians you know what I am talking about, but if you do not know Jesus as your lord and Savior then this world as we know it will end.  Jesus tells us in the Gospels that there will be signs that the age in which we live will come to an end.  He also tells us that he will come back to bring God children home and this will happen two times, once at the rapture and the second at the end of the tribulation period.  We have the Bible to give us the information about what type of signs God will show that will lead up to the end of times.  The information about the end of time can be found in the New Testament part of the Bible and it will be found in Matthew, Mark, and Luke.  The message is the same in all three accounts and we will break down each part of the message and show signs that have happened in the past several years up until today.  As we give the information we will give the book it comes out of, the chapter, and the verses that we will use.  If it is written in red that means Jesus himself said the words in the verse.  We will give information that compares to the bible verse that we are talking about.  We will start our findings in the next post.
